Under the Initiative for the Integration of Regional Infrastructure in South America (IIRSA), both in Paraguay and in Brazil, specifically in the State of Paraná, is carried out a pilot scheme to determine what areas the two countries can create productive chains and what infrastructure is needed for this. This plan provides for the Asunción-axis Paranagua.

In this regard, the Paraguayan side, both the Red Investment and Export (REDIEX) through the Bureau of Logistics, as the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, the National Transportation (Dinatrán), working in a survey data with the private sector, to know what sectors or areas they want to integrate with the producers of the State of Parana, in the shaft.

Eduardo Clari well informed, director of business environment of the office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), who explained further that the State of Paraná, with the support of Brasilia, performs the same work with producers in the area.

He noted that in February, as part of a workshop to take place between the two countries, and is expected to have the list of areas in which such integration can pursue productive and what infrastructure will be needed.
